Christ Consciousness is a phrase Free and United uses to describe a deep connection with God expressed through compassion, truth, humility, courage, forgiveness, and service.
Jesus the man
At the center of this exploration is Jesus: a human being whose life and teachings reveal an extraordinary intimacy with God. His example points toward a way of living in which love is stronger than fear, forgiveness is stronger than vengeance, and service is a form of greatness.
Christ as a state of consciousness
In this framing, “Christ” is more than a name or title. It describes a pattern of spiritual awakening—a life becoming so aligned with divine love and truth that the separation between inner belief and outward action begins to dissolve.
This does not mean that every person becomes Jesus, or that distinct traditions should be collapsed into one. It means that many traditions describe human beings becoming more awake, more compassionate, and more deeply united with the sacred.
